Wycombe Abbey International School Bangkok appoints Ms Fiona Angel as Founding Headteacher.

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Ms. Fiona Angel as the Founding Headteacher of Wycombe Abbey International School Bangkok (WASBKK), effective from today. Ms. Angel will be joining us from the United Kingdom and is scheduled to arrive in Bangkok on 15 January 2026.

Ms. Angel brings to WASBKK a distinguished record of leadership in British and international education. Most recently, she served as Acting Master and for 7 years as Senior Deputy at Dulwich College, London, becoming the first female deputy head in the schools 400-year history. While at Dulwich she led whole-school strategy, culture, operations, safeguarding, and international expansion. Under her leadership, Dulwich College achieved its strongest academic results and most successful admissions cycle to date.

Throughout her career, Ms. Angel has demonstrated a visionary and pragmatic approach to school leadership. She has designed and embedded academic and pastoral frameworks, led organisational change, and developed international partnerships across Asia (including Bangkok) and the Middle East. Her experience includes overseeing the quality assurance and inspection framework for multiple international schools.

Ms. Angel is recognised for her ability to inspire confidence among staff, parents, and students alike. She is committed to building strong, inclusive communities rooted in excellence, compassion, and ambition. Her leadership style is both strategic and relational, ensuring that every member of the school community feels valued and supported.
