An Unforgettable Italian Adventure

Thirty-six students from Wycombe Abbey School Changzhou and Wycombe Abbey School Hangzhou embarked on an educational journey across Italy, exploring the legacy of Leonardo da Vinci. This trip, spanning Milan, Vinci, and Venice, was designed to immerse students in history, art, and innovation, making learning an engaging experience beyond mere sightseeing.

The itinerary included cultural discoveries and indulgence in local cuisine like pasta and gelato. Students experienced iconic masterpieces such as da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man and Botticelli’s The Birth of Venus, while visiting Leonardo’s birthplace. Italy transformed into a vibrant classroom, with museums and piazzas serving as interactive learning spaces.

Despite navigating a complex travel schedule and facing an 8-hour flight delay on their return, the students demonstrated resilience and camaraderie. This adventure was not just about historical exploration; it fostered adaptability, friendship, and growth in a dynamic environment. Ultimately, it was a celebration of learning and imagination that connected students across time and cultures.
