Wycombe Abbey School Changzhou is now an International STEM Literacy Education Hub

Wycombe Abbey School Changzhou recently announced its designation as an “International STEM Literacy Education Hub,” recognizing their innovative approach to STEM education. Their active involvement in the CREST Awards program illustrates their commitment to providing students with opportunities to develop critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills through real-world projects.

At a recent RAISE (Redefining Asian International Schools and Education – RAISE Schools) conference in November, the Head of Faculty of EDT, Mr. Armaan Shaikh, accepted the award and presented on enhancing accessibility to the CREST Awards. This initiative ensures that all students can engage with the framework, significantly benefiting their learning in STEM.

Wycombe Abbey School Changzhou promotes STEM literacy through project-based learning and events like STEM Days and Science Fairs, aligning with CREST criteria. Younger students start with guided investigations, progressing to independent projects for Silver and Gold CREST Awards.

The students’ successes in the CREST Awards reflect their dedication and our supportive initiatives. Many become leaders in STEM clubs, fostering a culture of collaboration and inspiration. Congratulations to Wycombe Abbey School Changzhou on this recognition and to all the students there!
